MATERIAL ENTERING THIS NODE IS INDEXED ON ARRIVAL AND RETAINED UNDER ITS ORIGINAL DESIGNATION.
Records are released on a schedule held by control. A designation may exist in the index before its contents are available; this is expected and is not a fault condition.
Attribution is recorded as received. Where a source cannot be established the record is carried as UNKNOWN and is not assigned to a network.
Contradiction between two sources is preserved. This node does not reconcile conflicting material on the reader's behalf.
